Supporting Conservation and Local Communities

Without the support and convergent attitudes of the communities, there can be no lasting change.

The Conservation and Local Communities Support Programme aims to promote environmental conservation in a sustainable way, involving local communities. Focussing on community solutions, it creates a link between environmental preservation and social development, guaranteeing direct benefits to local populations.
The programme offers activities aimed at preserving fauna and flora, with an emphasis on recovering areas of native vegetation and monitoring marine biodiversity. It also promotes cultural immersion, allowing participants to understand the role of communities in conservation, while generating economic benefits and new job opportunities.
By uniting conservation and community development, the programme strengthens local communities and contributes to a sustainable future.
